While it’s a nice thought to have warm wipes for baby’s tushy, it’s not necessarily needed.  

Your baby won’t remember or hold a grudge with you for using cold baby wipes.  

It comes with the territory of diaper changing.  

According to Parent.com 500,000 baby wipe warms have been recalled between 1997 to 2001 due to electric shock and melting of the product making it a huge fire hazard for the home.  

Warm moist areas also serve as a breeding ground for potential germs.

It’s best to not add this product to your baby registry!

Diaper Changing Table

We will probably catch so heat from the parents who love their diaper changing table, but hear us out!

Diaper changing tables are not a really a necessity. 

We high suggest instead of buying a changing table to just opt for the changing pad. 

Just purchasing a changing pad will save you loads of space and money, which is perfect for those parents living in a small space.

A changing table can easily be stored under the crib and brought out whenever you need it. 

Buy the time your child becomes a full-fledged toddler you will be changing diapers almost anywhere without a changing pad anyway.

Bassinet

Bassinets are a small crib that are designed to be beside the bed next to mom and dad.

Many parents love to buy these and use them during the newborn stage.

However, there is three big problems with a bassinet.  

One, they take up a lot of space along with a crib as well.

Two, according to safety regulations, bassinets should only be used up to 20 pounds or when baby is able to roll over or push up on their hands and knees.

Don’t get us wrong, baby food makers seem like a money saving option for new parents.

But, the baby food maker itself with all the necessities to the product are both expensive and time consuming.

You can still make your own healthy and delicious baby food without the use of a baby food maker.

Instead, just use a regular blender you probably already have in your cabinet!

Button Baby Clothing

We know, buttons on baby clothing are adorable!

However, they are also hard to get buttoned. 

Once your baby starts moving more.

Yes, you do need some form of a high chair.

Specialized baby detergent is all the rage in detergent aisle.  But there are other less expensive options out their for detergents that are not only cheaper, but hypoallergenic and light or non-scented.

Diaper Disposal System

Just don’t forget to empty every day or every other day (depending on the smell.) 

Disposable Diapers (opt for cloth diapering)

Disposable diapers are convenient. 

Perfect for a family on the go.  

But, not only do they accumulate and add to landfills.  Secondly, the long running cost of disposable diapers is expensive.  Each diaper ranges from  about .15 cents to .30 cents or above.

The longer your child is in disposable diapers the more expenses you occur over time.

Instead, make the courageous switch to cloth diapering. 

While the start-up cost for cloth diapers seems too much at first. 

You will see overtime you are spending far less money than traditional disposable diapers.

Some parents even choose to do half and half. 

So, use disposable diapers when traveling away from home like to the grocery store or shopping mall and cloth diapers at home.
